I was born in Michigan, and except for a few years here and there, have always lived in Michigan. I love it here!
My husband was one of the first people I met in college. He is the coolest guy I know. How in the world he puts up with me is a mystery.
We have three daughters. They do like boating, but won’t wear flowy dresses or bonnets, no matter how many times I ask. Swap out those bonnets for hockey helmets and the dresses for jerseys and that would be a more accurate representation.
A few things I love:
Writing! Usually not with a quill. 
I love to hike. The woman in this painting is a bit overdressed though, right? 
Traveling. I fly, but not like this. 
Reading. Inside or outside (with lots of SPF for the latter!)
